.A new long-period south (190 degree) swell will peak today at advisory thresholds. Surf heights will begin to diminish tonight, but may linger at advisory thresholds through Friday.
* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 8 to 12 feet.
* WHERE...South facing shores of all Hawaiian Islands.
* WHEN...Until 6 AM HST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Moderate. Strong breaking waves and strong currents will make swimming dangerous.
