* Special Marine Warning for... Coastal Waters from Mexico Beach to Apalachicola out 20 NM... Coastal waters from Okaloosa-Walton County Line to Mexico Beach out 20 NM... St. Andrews Bay Waterways... Waters from Okaloosa-Walton County Line to Mexico Beach from 20 to 60 NM...
* Until 1245 AM CDT.
* At 1112 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts were located along a line extending from 17 nm east of Highway 331 Bridge to 7 nm northwest of Mexico Beach to 13 nm north of Port St. Joe, moving south at 25 knots.
HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 40 knots.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots...suddenly higher waves...frequent lightning...and heavy downpours. Waterspouts can quickly form and capsize boats. Make sure all on board are wearing life jackets.
* Locations impacted include... Panama City Beach, Laguna Beach, Cape San Blas, Mexico Beach, and Port St. Joe.
