.Flooding continues along the White River at points from Centerton on south. The crest on the White is at Spencer late Wednesday morning and should reach Elliston late overnight Thursday and Newberry by midday Friday.
Additional rainfall of around 1.5 inches in upper portions of the White basin, as well as far lower portions of the White, was included in these forecasts. This additional rainfall should bring an additional bump to action stage along the White from Muncie to Ravenswood over the next few days. With locally higher amounts possible and the potential for the location of the axis of heaviest rain to change, those with interests along the White River should pay close attention to forecast updates and stay weather aware.

During March 2011...White River was rising very slowly and Shoals dropped to 14.7 feet and was leveling off.
