White River below Eagle Valley Power Plant.

White River at Spencer.

.Flooding continues along the White River at points from Centerton on south. The crest on the White is at Spencer late Wednesday morning and should reach Elliston late overnight Thursday and Newberry by midday Friday.

Additional rainfall of around 1.5 inches in upper portions of the White basin, as well as far lower portions of the White, was included in these forecasts. This additional rainfall should bring an additional bump to action stage along the White from Muncie to Ravenswood over the next few days. With locally higher amounts possible and the potential for the location of the axis of heaviest rain to change, those with interests along the White River should pay close attention to forecast updates and stay weather aware.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:30 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 20.7 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:30 AM EDT Wednesday was 20.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 20.8 feet this afternoon.
