At 234 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Anchor Dam, which is 26 miles west of Thermopolis, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph, half inch hail, localized flooding, and accumulating small hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of south central Hot Springs County.
