.Widespread moderate to locally heavy rainfall associated with Tropical Storm Rachel over the San Diego River basin is expected tonight into late Sunday morning. The San Diego River at Fashion Valley is expected to peak at 8.1 ft (action/monitor stage) just before Noon on Sunday, falling below action stage Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 7.5 feet, Action stage. The first real impacts are seen on the San Diego River at this level. Low lying roads in and around Fashion Valley Mall begin to take on water. Avenida Del Rio is the first road to begin flooding.
