Wind Advisory

* WHAT...Southeast winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.

* WHERE...Kodiak Island.

* WHEN...From 4 PM Thursday to 7 AM AKDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A gale force front will enter the western Gulf of Alaska by early Thursday afternoon, sending a corridor of southeast winds towards Kodiak Island through Friday morning. This front will be a fast mover, and will first impact Akhiok and Old Harbor Thursday evening into early Friday morning, while Kodiak City and Chiniak is on track to see an increase in winds early to mid morning Friday. This front will then continue to progress northeastward through the rest of Friday morning and away from Kodiak Island.
