High Surf Advisory

* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 6 to 8 feet.

* WHERE...South facing reefs of Kosrae.

* WHEN...From 3 PM Monday to 3 AM ChST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A strong tropical disturbance near 10S 180 will send an increased south to southeast pulse of wave energy sometime Monday evening through Tuesday afternoon through the region. This will create hazardous surf along the south facing reefs of Kosrae.
