The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Southwestern Iron County in southern Utah... Northern Washington County in southwestern Utah...

* Until 800 PM MDT.

* At 451 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.75 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen, with the heaviest rainfall in and about the New Castle area. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.75 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.
