* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of east central New York, including the following counties, Columbia, Dutchess and Ulster.
* WHEN...Until 400 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1007 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Kingston, Saugerties, Rhinebeck, Hurley, Woodstock, Livingston, Copake, Pine Plains, Clermont, Red Hook, Ancram, Millerton, Staatsburg, Port Ewen, Saugerties South, Lake Katrine, Stanfordville, Tillson, West Hurley and High Falls. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
