The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for... Montgomery County in west central Indiana... Southern Tippecanoe County in west central Indiana...

* Until 330 PM EDT.

* At 1218 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Crawfordsville, Shadeland, Ladoga, Waynetown, Darlington, Linden, New Market, Clarks Hill, Waveland, New Ross, New Richmond, Wingate, Alamo and Shades State Park.
