At 306 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms produced heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other drainage and low lying areas.
Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Lincoln Park, Kinnelon, Boonton, Butler, Riverdale, Pequannock Township, Green Pond and Lake Telemark.
This includes Interstate 287 in New Jersey between mile markers 46 and 53.
