At 606 PM MDT, gauge reports indicated high flows in Embudo Arroyo. The arroyo has reached above 10 feet. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Albuquerque, Los Ranchos De Albuquerque, North Valley, Sandia Heights, South Valley and Alameda.

This includes the following highways... Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 157 and 168. Interstate 25 between Mile Markers 222 and 233.
