* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...A portion of south central Virginia, including the following county and independent city, City of Martinsville and Henry.
* WHEN...Until midnight EDT tonight.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1107 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that heavy rain has exited the area. However, minor flooding may be occurring as runoff from heavy rain earlier this evening collects in local creeks and rivers, potentially pushing them out of their banks in spots. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain fell earlier this evening. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Bull Run, Bassett Branch, Jordan Creek, Koger Creek, Grassy Fork, Mill Creek, Muddy Creek, Horse Pasture Creek, Hairston Branch, Leatherwood Creek, Beaver Creek and Blackberry Creek. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
