...HIGH SURF ADVISORY FOR SOUTH AND SOUTHEAST FACING SHORES THROUGH THURSDAY...
.Swells from Hurricane Lowell will steadily fill in across rest of the island chain tonight into Thursday and will produce advisory level surf for south and southeast exposures throughout the state. Swells from Lowell will gradually veer from southeast to south tonight through Thursday. Additionally, a moderate long period south swell will peak tonight then gradually decline through the rest of the week.
* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 7 to 10 feet.
* WHERE...Southeast Big Island.
* WHEN...Until 6 PM HST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Moderate. Strong breaking waves and strong currents will make swimming dangerous.
