At 222 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12 miles northeast of Navajo Lake State Park, or 15 miles northeast of Navajo Dam, moving northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include... Mainly rural areas of Northwestern Rio Arriba and Northeastern San Juan Counties.
