* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Navajo County in north central Arizona... Apache County in northeastern Arizona...

* WHEN...Until 1130 PM MST /1230 AM MDT/ Tonight.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of creeks and normally dry washes is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 350 PM MST /450 PM MDT/, Doppler radar indicated an area of very heavy rainfall across the warned area. This has led to flooded roadways within the area, and the Little Colorado River stream gage near St Johns has risen to Minor Flood stage. In the past, water begins to impact homes along Water Street next to the Little Colorado River. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers... Milky Wash, Silver Creek, Carrizo Wash, Jim Camp Wash, Lower Lyman Ditch, Seven Springs Wash, Grapevine Creek, Teds Wash, Zuqi River, Lithodendron Wash, Wild Cow Wash, Jarvis Wash, Nutrioso Creek, Dry Creek, Little Lithodendron Wash, Little Milky Wash, Jaralosa Draw, Big Hollow Wash, Puerco River, Fivemile Wash, Little Colorado River, Vigil Run, Carr Lake Draw, Washboard Wash, Morgan Canyon, Zui River, Ninemile Wash, East Twin Wash, Crazy Creek, Mexican Hollow Wash, Cottonwood Wash, Beaver Dam Wash, Sevenmile Draw, Hardscrabble Wash, Coyote Creek, Carnero Creek, East Fork Dry Creek and Dead Wash. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Springerville, St. Johns, Saint Johns Industrial Air Park, Witch Well, Petrified Forest National Park, Rainbow Forest Lodge, Lyman Lake State Park, Chambers, Sanders, Woodruff, Springerville Airport, St. Johns City Park, Crystal Forest, Navajo Springs, Pinta, Nahata Dziil, McCarrell and Lyman Lake. - This includes the following highways... Interstate 40 between mile markers 304 and 308...and between mile markers 315 and 339. State Route 260 between mile markers 389 and 393. Highway 60 between mile markers 375 and 386. Highway 191 161 between mile markers 316 and 367. State Route 61 between mile markers 417 and 424. State Route 77 between mile markers 368 and 370. Highway 191 between mile markers 374 and 375. Highway 180 191 between mile markers 371 and 394. Highway 180 between mile markers 310 and 338...and between mile markers 366 and 368.
