The National Weather Service in Grand Junction has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Central San Juan County in southeastern Utah...

* Until 830 PM MDT.

* At 525 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 2 to 2.5 inches in 1 hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, slot canyons and arroyos as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
