At 345 AM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists detected a a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing wind gusts near 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located 14 nm south of Wood's Wall East Crack. The thunderstorm was nearly stationary.
The strong thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.
