Severe Thunderstorm Warning

At 333 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Conrad to 12 miles south of The Knees to 27 miles southwest of Belt, moving east at 75 mph.

THESE ARE DESTRUCTIVE STORMS FOR GREAT FALLS AND FORT BENTON.

HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles. Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely. Blowing dust will reduce visibility along area roads and create hazardous driving conditions.

Locations impacted include... Great Falls, Conrad, Fort Benton, Chester, Big Sandy, Stanford, Belt, Geraldine, Lothair, Brady, The Knees, Highwood, Black Eagle, Geyser, Carter, Floweree, Windham, Tiber Dam, Eden, and Stockett.
