Flood Advisory

* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Eastern Los Angeles County in southwestern California... including the Summit and Bridge burn scars...

* WHEN...Until 745 PM PDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos and dry washes. Minor debris flows may occur in the recent burn scars. Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 146 PM PDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 0.8 inches of rain have fallen. - Rainfall rates will generally range around 0.25 to 0.33 inch per hour. Isolated rates may reach 0.50 inch per hour for brief periods. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Wrightwood, Llano, Valyermo, Highway 138 between Llano and the San Bernardino County line, Angeles Crest Highway between Mount Waterman and Wrightwood and Big Pines. - Recent burn scars including the Summit and Bridge burn scars. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
