* WHEN...For the Extreme Heat Warning, until 8 PM PDT this evening. For the Heat Advisory, from 8 PM this evening to 8 PM PDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat events.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Major to Extreme HeatRisk through today. Warm overnight low temperature will limit relief from the heat.
