...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Illinois...
Des Plaines River near Russell affecting Lake IL County.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecasted to occur.
* WHERE...Des Plaines River from IL/WI state line downstream to US-41 in Gurnee, including the Russell gauge.
* WHEN...Until Tuesday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 7.0 feet, Low-lying wetlands and agricultural land is inundated near the river.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:30 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 6.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow evening to a crest of 7.4 feet Saturday evening. It will then fall below flood stage early Tuesday afternoon. - Flood stage is 7.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 7.4 feet on 02/17/2005. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
