* Until 215 PM EDT.

* At 1243 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were developing along a line extending from 6 nm northwest of Alexandria to 8 nm northwest of Mason Neck State Park to 13 nm northwest of Leesylvania State Park, moving east at 15 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Boaters in small craft could be thrown overboard by suddenly higher winds and waves capsizing their vessel.
