* WHERE...Frio River at Tilden.

* WHEN...Until late Friday night.

* IMPACTS...At 27.0 feet, Major flooding occurs. Numerous residences and businesses flood in Tilden, requiring persons vulnerable to flooding to be evacuated. Lowland flooding of crops and pastureland traps and potentially drowns livestock. Most roads near the river are flooded and dangerous. Water reaches the parking lot and doors of the cafe.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:15 PM CDT Monday the stage was 11.7 feet. - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tonight to a crest of 27.9 feet early Wednesday morning.
