* WHAT...Major flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Frio River at Tilden.

* WHEN...From Monday morning until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 27.0 feet, Major flooding occurs. Numerous residences and businesses flood in Tilden, requiring persons vulnerable to flooding to be evacuated. Lowland flooding of crops and pastureland traps and potentially drowns livestock. Most roads near the river are flooded and dangerous. Water reaches the parking lot and doors of the cafe.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:15 PM CDT Friday the stage was 1.9 feet. - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage Monday morning and continue rising to a crest of 27.7 feet Tuesday. - Flood stage is 22.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
