At 647 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles south of Merriman, or 24 miles south of Martin, moving southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include... Merriman and Highway 61 Crossing The Niobrara River.

This includes the following highways... Highway 20 between mile markers 125 and 145. Highway 61 between mile markers 210 and 230.
