* Special Marine Warning for... Chesapeake Bay from North Beach to Drum Point MD... Chesapeake Bay from Sandy Point to North Beach MD... Choptank River to Cambridge MD and the Little Choptank River... Eastern Bay...

* Until 945 PM EDT.

* At 748 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 11 nm north of Key Bridge to near Reagan National Airport to near Indian Head to near Smallwood State Park, moving east at 20 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 48 knots.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Boaters could easily be thrown overboard by suddenly higher wind and waves capsizing their vessel. Boats could suffer significant damage in high winds.

Choptank River, North Point State Park, Eastern Bay, Blackwalnut Point, Greenbury Point, Shady Side, Herring Bay, Highland Beach, Sandy Point State Park, Severn River, Bloody Point Light, Thomas Point Light, Calvert Cliffs, Parsons Island, Fort Smallwood State Park, Pinehurst, Gibson Island, Bodkin Point, Chesapeake Beach, and Miles River.
