* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.

* WHERE...Union County

* WHEN...Through Wednesday evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Near-record to record surge of moisture combined with a system moving across northern New Mexico will continue to bring numerous showers and thunderstorms with moderate to heavy rainfall. Combined with already rain-soaked soil, there is a moderate to high risk of flash flooding. - Low-lying, poorly drained areas, urban areas and arroyo systems will be most susceptible. Rivers and streams will see rises, potentially reaching flood stage. Recent burn scars may see flash flooding, including the Frijoles burn scar. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
