At 950 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 18 miles southeast of Capitol Reef National Park, moving northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.
This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of north central Garfield and eastern Wayne Counties.
This includes Utah Route 95 between mile markers 4 and 22.
