At 438 AM CDT, Doppler radar, emergency management, and rainfall gauges reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain with ongoing flooding across the warned area. Between 6 and 16 inches of rain had fallen over the past 24 hours. Another line of showers is moving through the city of Uvalde with rain rates near 1 to 3 inches per hour. Significant Flash flooding is already occurring or soon could develop with numerous roads underwater and multiple water rescues occurring earlier today. Additionally, local creeks and rivers could quickly become even more swollen across the warned area, campers please be aware overnight. Travel is discouraged within the warned area.
