* WHAT...High temperatures up to the lower 100s for northwest Utah with low temperatures in the mid 70s providing little overnight relief. High temperatures in the upper 90s for the Uinta Basin with low temperatures in the upper 60s. HeatRisk will be in the red (major) range through the weekend.

* WHERE...Great Salt Lake Desert and Mountains, Tooele and Rush Valleys, and Western Uinta Basin.

* WHEN...Until midnight MDT Monday Night.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses.
