Wabash River from Covington to Mount Carmel.
.On the Wabash River, minor flooding continues, with the crest near Riverton as of Saturday evening. Flooding is predicted to end on the Wabash next Friday. Largely dry weather is in store for the week ahead, with only low chances of rain Wednesday night and Thursday.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Wabash River at Riverton.
* WHEN...Until late Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet, Shortcut (gravel road) to Riverton floods at 20 to 21 feet as Wabash River backs up Turtle Creek a few miles south of Merom.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM EDT Saturday /7:00 PM CDT Saturday/ the stage was 20.8 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:00 PM EDT Saturday /7:00 PM CDT Saturday/ was 20.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 20.9 feet just after midnight tonight.
