...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers...
West Fork of Whitewater River at Alpine.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...West Fork of Whitewater River at Alpine.
* WHEN...Until Friday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Flooding impacts structures in especially the south side of Connersville, as well as Laurel in Franklin county. Flooding is widespread through other low areas, including near Alpine and Nulltown. In Connersville, properties between Dora Avenue and the river on the east side of Connersville continue to flood, as well as along Grand Avenue in the south side of Connersville. Properties impacted in Laurel are mainly along and west of West South Street.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 5:00 PM EDT Thursday the stage was 18.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage tomorrow morning and continue falling, remaining below flood stage. - Flood stage is 14.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 18.6 feet on 01/05/2004.
