* Flash Flood Warning for... Coconino County in north central Arizona...

* Until 845 PM MST /945 PM MDT/.

* At 549 PM MST /649 PM MDT/, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, normally dry washes, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Wupatki National Monument, Doney Mountain, Gray Mountain, Little Colorado River Navajo Tribal Park and Strawberry Crater Wilderness.

This includes the following highways... U.S. Highway 89 between mile markers 434 and 457. State Route 64 between mile markers 269 and 287.

This includes the following recreation areas and campgrounds... Willows Camp.

This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers... Lava Wash, Jackrabbit Wash, Cedar Wash, Mays Wash, Hulls Wash, Kanaa Wash, Doney Mountain Wash, Little Colorado River, Deer Tank Wash, Burro Canyon Wash, Citadel Wash, Deadman Wash, Lee Canyon, Ball Court Wash, Campbell Francis Wash, Tappan Wash and Needmore Wash.
