* WHAT...Flash Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...Portions of central and northeast Colorado, including the following areas: the southern Front Range Foothills, Palmer Divide area, I-25 corridor, and all of our eastern plains counties.
* WHEN...Until 10 PM MDT this evening.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Additional thunderstorms and heavy rainfall this afternoon, combined with the heavy rainfall from the past 3 days, will bring a threat for flash flooding this afternoon and evening. Stronger storms will be capable of producing 1 to 2 inches of rain in 30 minutes, with isolated areas receiving storm totals of 2 to 4 inches.
