The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... South Central Kane County in southern Utah...

* Until 445 PM MDT.

* At 142 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across Buckskin Gulch, Wire Pass, and the Wave. Up to 0.75 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks, streams, slot canyons, and normally dry washes.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Buckskin Gulch, Wire Pass, and the Wave.

This includes US Route 89 between mile markers 14 and 27.
