These strong thunderstorms were located along a line from 12 NM southeast of Timbalier Island to 19 NM south of Empire, or along a line from 12 NM southeast of Timbalier Island to 18 NM northwest of Southwest Pass Of the Mississippi River, moving southeast at 10 knots.
