* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Southeastern Lincoln County in central New Mexico...

* WHEN...Until 345 AM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Rapid river rises will cause minor flooding along the Rio Hondo. Earlier heavy rainfall will continue to race downstream within the Rio Hondo to the Chaves County line. The Rio Hondo at Alamo Canyon has already risen 6.5 feet and continues to rise.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 943 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Tinnie, Hondo and Sunset. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
