* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of north central and northeast Nevada, including the following counties, in north central Nevada, Eureka. In northeast Nevada, Elko. This includes I-80 from west of Elko to west of Carlin.
* WHEN...Until 645 PM PDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 337 PM PDT, trained weather spotters reported heavy rain in the advisory area due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.3 to 0.6 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Elko, Carlin, Palisade, South Area Mine and Adobe Summit and including I-80 running through these locations. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
