Turkey Creek Near Wilber affecting Saline County.
.This update reflects slightly lower river levels but stays above flood stage longer.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Turkey Creek near Wilber.
* WHEN...Until Monday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Portions of County Road O, located north of Highway 41, may begin to flood.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:45 AM CDT Friday the stage was 15.2 feet. - Bankfull stage is 11.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:45 AM CDT Friday was 16.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage Monday morning and continue falling to 3.6 feet Wednesday morning. - Flood stage is 12.5 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 15.1 feet on 07/25/1992. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
