Extreme Heat Watch

* WHAT...For the Heat Advisory, heat index values up to 95 expected. For the Extreme Heat Watch, dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 100 possible.

* WHERE...Bayfield and Douglas Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Red Cliff Band. Other locations including the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore.

* WHEN...For the Heat Advisory, from 11 AM this morning to 9 PM CDT this evening. For the Extreme Heat Watch, from Sunday morning through Monday evening.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events. Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Little to no relief from the heat is possible Sunday night as continued very warm heat indices in the 70s are forecast Sunday night.
