At 1258 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 14 miles southwest of Haugan, or 26 miles southwest of Thompson Falls, moving northeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Heavy rain may cause localized debris flows from flood prone areas.
Locations impacted include... Haugan, De Borgia, Saltese, Taft and East Portal.
