At 405 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 24 miles northeast of Stehekin, or 43 miles west of Omak, moving north at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include... Mazama and Gate Creek Campground.
This includes U.S. Highway 20 in Washington between mile markers 177 and 186.
