* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 656 PM HST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges continue to indicate heavy rain over North Hilo, South Hilo, and Puna Districts of the Big Island. Local stream gauges upstream of Hilo have shown rather rapid rises over the past hour at Honolii Stream and Wailuku River. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Rain was falling at a rate of 1 to 3 inches per hour. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Hilo, Hawaiian Paradise Park, Volcano, Glenwood, Mountain View, Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, Hawaiian Acres, Keaau, Orchidlands Estates, Papaikou and Pepeekeo.
