Salt Creek At Barnard affecting Lincoln County.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of record.

* WHERE...Salt Creek at Barnard.

* WHEN...From this evening until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, Expect flooding of agricultural fields to an extent of 3/4 of a mile coverage. Flood waters cover Highway 284 east of the creek bridge to around 260th Road, expect road closure. Numerous roads along and near the Salt Creek flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:15 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 17.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this evening and continue rising to a crest of 24.1 feet early tomorrow afternoon. - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
