For the Extreme Heat Watch, dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 109 possible. For the second Heat Advisory, heat index values up to 109 expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central, eastern, and north central Arkansas.

* WHEN...For the first Heat Advisory, until noon CDT today. For the Extreme Heat Warning, from noon today to 8 PM CDT this evening. For the Extreme Heat Watch, from 8 PM CDT this evening through Friday evening. For the second Heat Advisory, from 8 PM Friday to 8 PM CDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events. Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.
