At 646 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Kewanee, or near Cuba, moving south at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. At 630 PM, a 56 MPH wind gust was recorded at Meridian Naval Air Station. Trees have also been reported down in Meridian.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include... Meridian, Marion, Toomsuba, Lauderdale, Alamucha, and Kewanee.
