* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Illinois, including the following areas, Bureau, Carroll, Henry IL, Putnam, Rock Island and Whiteside and east central Iowa, including the following areas, Benton, Cedar, Clinton, Iowa, Jackson, Johnson, Jones, Linn, Muscatine and Scott.

* WHEN...From this evening through Friday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A large system of thunderstorms with heavy rainfall moving across the area this morning and midday, followed by more rounds of storms tonight into Friday morning may produce several inches of rainfall and eventual flooding problems.
