Flood Warning

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring.

* WHERE...Gila County in east central Arizona... Navajo County in north central Arizona...

* WHEN...Until 1115 PM MST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of creeks and normally dry washes is imminent or occurring. Roads are closed and impassable due to flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 200 PM MST, emergency management reported flooding in the warned area, with Highway 73 closed between Carrizo and Cedar Creek. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers... North Fork White River and Bear Canyon. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Cedar Creek, Cow Pasture Butte, Bull Butte, Blue Rock Butte, Carrizo, Cibeque Peak, Round Top Mountain and Cibeque Falls. - This includes the following highways... Highway 60 between mile markers 298 and 316. State Route 73 between mile markers 311 and 328.
